my favorite albums ever

music is one of the only things i take seriously so I'm actually really proud of the stuff I like i don't do it to be pretentious i swear. here's 9 of my favorite albums (so i can put them in a consumable and visually appealing square)

1. Deep Divine by Pretty Sick, listen to the whole thing but Angel Landing and Allen Street are insanely good. and also Pretty Sick as a whole

2. DSU by Alex G, this entire album makes me roll on the floor in joy and anguish, I love Alex G

3. Habit by Snail Mail, this has some of the first songs I liked ever on it, Static Buzz was genuinely one of my first favorite songs.

4.IRE by Combo Chimbita, I reviewed this for the radio my freshman year and it is one of the most perfect albums ever, it's this insane columbian soul album, the vocals are so emotional and beautiful, I love it. listen to Sin Tiempo and Yo Me Lo Merezco

5. Live Through This by Hole, am I a Courtney Love stan? absolutely not, however this album contributed so much to my current neurochemistry from how much I listened to it in high school. listen to jennifer's body, I'm begging you

6. Milo Goes to College by Descendents, this was the first punk album I listened to and liked, Marriage and Myage are awesome

7. No Regerts by Chastity Belt, this album is part of what made me evil, Pussy Weed Beer was my senior year anthem, when these were my favorite songs ever I was somewhat psychotic but idgaf they're awesome

8. Still Bummed by Nouns, dogs was one of my first favorite songs also, and listening to it again while I actually love screamo makes it even better

9. Pottymouth by Bratmobile, this made me get into riot grrrl, is it objectively bad, maybe, but i don't care it rules, Bitch Theme made me turn evil, listen to Panik, Richard (a perfect song)

is not a frog This is Rango from the 2011 Nickelodeon western classic. It is my favorite movie of all time. Sometimes people think it's a joke but it's not at all like not whatsoever Rango is genuinely one of the best movies ever. I'm not like a film bro or anything so I guess my opinion isn't professional but professionalism is bullshit. Even though it is a kids movie, it has themes all age groups can get something from, humor that transcends all ages, an incredible soundtrack, ridiculously intricate character design, a well thought out world, etc, etc. I watch it at least twice a year cause it brings me so much joy and peace. I relate to so many of the characters, especially rango, with the experience of not really knowing others for a long time so not having a formed sense of self until you find where you fit with other people. I play this movie in my head when I'm bored, I know every line, every sound effect. I can't really explain why I like it so much but I've met other people who get it and that's enough for me.
